Metallurgy Simulator

Drag elements into the furnace to build ratios. Ratios are size-normalised (e.g. Au×6 + Al×2 matches Au×3 + Al×1). Data comes from data/metallurgy.json.

Elements

Single-click materials to add a 2g pinch, or drag-and-drop into the furnace. Drag ingots out of the furnace to remove them.
Disclaimer (simplified metallurgy):
  • The “recipes” and ratios here are simplified so the game is easy to use and experiment with.
  • Real alloys can be much more complicated. For example, stainless steel isn’t just “iron + chromium + nickel” — real grades often include small amounts of elements like carbon, molybdenum, manganese, silicon, nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur, etc.
  • Use this as a rough-ish guide for learning and discovery — not engineering reference data.

Furnace

Drop ingots here. Exact recipes unlock — but ratios are size-normalised.
Click a material to add one 2g pinch. Hold-to-pour is disabled to stop accidental repeat clicks. Drag material tiles into the tray if you prefer.

Hint: Build a ratio and fire the furnace to discover something.
Try: Cu×2 + Sn×1 (Bronze), Cu×2 + Zn×1 (Brass), Fe×2 + C×1 (Steel).

Fire the furnace to create something.

Note: values are deliberately “gamey” / approximate for discovery fun.

Alloys (Visual Unlocks)

A “grey wall” of what exists. Locked ones are ??? until discovered.
Tip: the hint box will tell you what you’re missing / what’s extra compared to the closest recipe.
